Hola Amigos,
Sorry it has taken me SO long to write - I FINALLY don´t have a line up of people waiting for the computer behind me!
So basically for the past 4 days I have been in the big city of BA. I met some wonderful people, ate some pretty decent food and did quite a few little daytrips! FUN!
The first day I traveled with a tour through a wonderful neighborhood of Palermo. It was full of parks and wonderful flower gardens (something that I hadn´t seen in awhile in BA!). Plus the historical aspect was good too, it was nice to go around with a tour guide who actually knew what she was talking about! I learnt alot which was fun!
This same day was the first night I experienced the night life in BA. Holy shit is all I can say! Somehow myself and 2 Norwegian chicks got VIP VIP bracelets and EVERYTHING was free. It was ridonkulous - we had our own table and a bounder dude that would pull away other people if they tried to dance around it. I couldn´t stop laughing the whole night! The club literally had 1000s of people in it and I think it opened at like 2am. To say the least - I experienced my first dose of an all nighter - I literally went to bed after the sun had risen - it was a blast though but I think I got like 2 hours of sleep that night!
The next couple of days were filled with other touristy stuff all over the city (including La Boca, San Telmo and Recoleta!). I got lost alot (which is in a weird way sort of fun!) on the different buses, ate a TON of great food (which is REALLY hard because every menu is in Espanol!) - steak included and met a lot of great people!
It has sort of been a whirlwind - but its been amazing so far!
After about 4 days though I decided I had had enough and booked myself a 16 hour bus trip to Mendoza! It was actually a pretty decent ride ... 2 course meals, reclining seats (into beds) and movies galore! I honestly had the best sleep on the bus that I have had in days!
I am now in Mendoza and ABSOLUTELY love it. It has such a nicer, chilled out vibe then BA! The people are a little friendlier and its a much smaller town. The hostel is full of great people and I have met a really good crew of people and it has a pool!
The weather has been amazing - SO sunny and warm!
Today I am going with a bunch of Aussie dudes to test out the vino! FUN ;)
Hope you are all so well!
Miss you all!
Love,
J
Jbear,
ReplyDeleteI don't know why but I cried a little while reading this. I'm at school and it might be because of stress or something I do know. But I miss you lots. Your adventures are amazing already and it sounds like you are doing everything you can, no holding back. Add some photos when you can.
I love you sissie.
